In June 2010 Phooenix had a terrible accident she was running so fast that her legs buckled under her and she fell down on a stone step. I thought at the time as I hadn't seen the accident that she had caught a mouse or a rat and that she had killed it as there was so much blood around her mouth. On closer inspection (after Michelle looking!!!!) we realised that she had attached her lip to her two canine teeth, I rushed her to the vets and when they sedated her to unattach the lip they realised that she had pushed her teeth out of allignment. Once I got her home after them saying that hopefully her teeth would be ok I saw the next day that they were on a slant. I took her back to the vets where after much deliberating they decided they were going to try and put a brace in place, 3 Vets came in to see Phoenix and then they all came in the next day which was a Saturday to perform the surgery, unfortunately this did not work and when they tried to attach the brace her bottom 4 incisor teeth fell out. Phoenix got over this very quickly well 20mins after waking up she decided that she was hungry and instead of eating the scrambelled egg I had prepared her she decided to pinch the other two's hard kibble, so that was it no more fussing around her and from that day on you would never know that she has missing teeth! I applied to the Kennel Club for permission to show as it was a freak accident and they granted this, so I now have a letter that I carry during shows so that if the Judge requests to see it I can produce it. Phoenix has gone on to winning and being extremely highly placed in her classes. I would like to say thank you to all who sent messages and cards and Massive thank you to my vets that were so helpful and did not charge me the earth!!!!!!!



Phoenix is my new arrival and I am soooooo pleased that Michelle let me have her. She is the most beautiful Tan and White bitch, I always wanted a tan and white bitch but when Phoenix was born Michelle told me that she was a boy i still fell in love with him and it took a while for me to twig that she was a girl - the thing in between the legs should of told be something!!!!!! Phoenix has had the most wonderful start to her show career and is all i ever dreamed of.
